She is, at the Victoria University:
- Chair of the Human Research Ethics Committee (VUHREC), overseeing the conduct of all research involving humans conducted by the University.
- Chair of the Low Risk Human Research Ethics Committee (LRHREC)
She has done extensive research concerning research ethics, HIV/AIDS and the ethics of health care for asylum seekers and refugees.
